PBR riders walk out to flames, fireworks, and music at the PBR Built Ford Tough World Finals in Las Vegas. On the final night the golden bull statues were added to blow fire from their mouths as the riders take the stage for introductions.

Night three of the PBR Built Ford Tough World Finals saw Kaique Pacheco finish on top, however Pacheco did not ride successfully in the championship round counting him out for the finals. Cooper Davis became the new PBR World Champion for 2016 after riding the bull Catfish John in round five of finals for 91 points.

Day 2 of Professional Bull Riding at Matthew Knight Arena in Eugene saw Silvano Alves take the win riding the bull Modified Clyde and ending the event with 545 points. Jess Lockwood came in second with 290 aggregate event points, and Rubens Barbosa was third with aggregate event 285 points. Kaique Pacheco sits on top of the world standings with an 875 point season lead.

After photographing PBR Eugene in October 2016 I decided to focus on capturing the broad range of emotions that take place at the rodeo during the PBR World Finals in November 2016 in Las Vegas.

From the excitement and anticipation that floods the arena during the opening ceremony, to the sheer terror that paralyzes when a rider can't break free from his grip, to the overwhelming joy and satisfaction that encompasses the rider's face after a successful ride, to the tranquility and calm nature found during silent prayers before the chaos ensues, the rodeo is a place for the most extreme and raw emotions.
